Marching Band

The Marching Eagles have been entertaining and amazing audiences for decades. In the past 34 years, they have received 32 Division I ratings at the IHSMA State Marching Contest, and have won countless trophies and caption awards. Known for their intricate drill, powerful music, dazzling guard, and sizzling percussion, the Saydel Marching Eagles are a force to be reckoned with.

They perform at all Home Football games, and participate in the North Central Marching Invitational, Urbandale Marching Invitational, Valleyfest and Showdown, and the Mid-Iowa Band Championships.

The early mornings, long rehearsals, and late nights after competitions are all worth it when the band comes together as a family and delivers a knockout performance that delights audiences and judges alike
