The Instrumental Music program at Saydel High School has a long Tradition of Excellence in every aspect. Since the school's inception in the 1950s, the Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Pep Band have been known for their musical strength.

The current crop of students are proud to uphold that tradition, not only in musical talent and ability, but in outstanding work ethic, positive attitude, and a close sense of family.
